This product was created in a class called Integrative Product Development in which a multi-disciplinary team worked to create a product for a non-profit in Detroit, CASS. The design prompt was to create a product using materials found in the vacant lots of Detroit and to come up with a manufacturing process that could be easily completed by unskilled laborers.
